KWIQ organizing Henna Night on April 30

Doha. Kerala Women’s Initiative Qatar (KWIQ) is organizing a henna night today, April 30, to welcome Eid-ul-Fitr.

The event will be held at Ashoka Hall on Saturday from 7pm to 10pm in partnership with the Indian Cultural Center (ICC), an apex body of the Indian Embassy. The event is in collaboration with Skills Development and is open for women and families in Qatar.

“Admission is free, but you will have to pay for henna design. As part of ‘Mylanchi Ravu’, there will be food and fashion stalls with a variety of clothing and delicacies,” one of the organisers said.

“This is the 3rd year that KWIQ is organizing the henna night, but this is the first time it has been held for the general public as previous events were for members only,” KWIQ President Zareena Ahad said and added that they are delighted to conduct the Henna Night for the public in collaboration with the ICC.
